LIFE AS A GIFT

I've been given a gift
Prescious to me
A reason to celebrate
My humanity

From spirit we came
To spirit we'll go
When is done
Our season to grow

We do not know why
And are frightened of how
I shall wear this body
Proudly for now

When it comes time
For me to disrobe
I shall shed my clothing
And circle the globe

In God's divine love
I will come to rest
Trusting the father
To know what is best
