To many years behind the mask Grieving Trapped in a life that isn't mine Struggling To much of myself given up Vanishing Where am I going? How do I go on? No, do I go on...CONTEMPLATING! Gaining the courage to shatter the mask Mourning Taking a break from life Resting Paralyzed by fear but doing it anyway Embodying How do I do this? Why am I doing this? No, how can I not do this...KNOWING. Draped in a new more transparent cloth Birthing Open boundaries and soothing breathes Stretching Beyond the limits that existed just yesterday Learning What do I like? What do I want? No, what do I really want...POSSIBILITIES. Dressing in only my authentic self Growing Into the beauty and peace of being me Flowing So much to love about my life Living What took so long? Why did I wait? No, why was I so afraid...TO CHANGE |
